Alaba Odunlami Partners (LP) was established in 1985 as Alaba Odunlami and Company (Alaba Odunlami & Co.) to provide a wide range of legal services to both individual and corporate clients. The firm recently changed its name to Alaba Odunlami Partners to accommodate its ongoing expansion program.

The firm undertakes work for private and public companies, corporate investors, various arms of government institutions, financial institutions, foreign legal firms and international consultancy practices.

For about four decades, the firm has focused on the sometimes peculiar and specific needs of its clients and employed its experience, knowledge and understanding of the local, commercial, financial, corporate and regulatory environment in Nigeria garnered over the years to proffer and effect solutions to the requests and challenges of its numerous clients which has positioned them to take advantage of the multifaceted business opportunities available in Nigeria.

The firm’s clientele ranges from High Network Individuals to various small, medium and large-scale corporate organizations that have entrusted to the firm several legal matters which are handled with the utmost level of professionalism and ethical standards.

The firm is actively involved in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes, litigation and its appellate practice on behalf of clients on a variety of matters and our crop of young dynamic and experienced lawyers, possess varied and widespread experience in commercial law practice and other forms of litigation, while our legal secretarial department provides company secretarial services to aid organisations to establish and keep up and abreast with regulatory and statutory requirement

The firm in its bid to give back to the society takes on pro bono cases for the less privileged in the society. The Managing Partner also being a member of several charitable organisations and NGOs in Lagos Nigeria, has assisted various individuals and families to get justice. The firm however, intends to partner with some selected NGO’s during the course of the current legal year in order to assist as it were the administration of justice system.
